In terms of the listing requirements of the Malawi Stock Exchange Limited, a listed company is required to publish a Trading Statement as soon as there is a reasonable degree of certainty that the financial results for the period to be reported upon next will vary by at least 20% from that of the previous corresponding period.
Expected Results Increase
NICO Holdings plc is pleased to advise that it will be registering a profit after tax in the current year materially different from that of the prior year. NICO Holdings plc accordingly advises that its consolidated profit after tax for the year ending 31st December 2025 is expected to be in the range of MK318 billion to MK332 billion representing an increase of between 137% and 148% on the profit after tax of MK134 billion reported in the previous corresponding period. In addition, the consolidated profit after tax attributable to owners of the parent company (NICO Holdings plc) is also expected to be in the range of MK164 billion to MK172 billion representing an increase of between 128% and 139% on the profit after tax of MK72 billion reported in the previous corresponding period.
