NICO GROUP DONATIONS TO IPMM

NICO Group has donated K3.5 million to the Institute of People Management Malawi (IPMM) to go towards its annual lake conference.

The three-day conference has been slated for 10th – 12th November 2022 in Mangochi District.

Each year, the conference brings together human resource practitioners, company directors and executives from across the county to among other things, discuss topical issues affecting human capital management.

NICO Group Head of Marketing and Customer Experience, Lorraine Phiri said human resources practitioners play a critical role in professional employment and deserve the support.

“It is the recognition of the role they play that prompted us to support their annual conference. We know that these sessions bring forward a pool of expertise and innovations to issues in the human resource sector,” Phiri said.

IPMM Executive Director, Boniface Msesa, thanked NICO Group for the support and said the event accords HR practitioners a chance to share knowledge, interact among each other and share experiences happening in the business world.

“The Human Resource field is an environment on its own and this environment is always changing. It is important that as practitioners we stay abreast with all those changes,” Msesa said.

NICO Group remains committed to playing its role of contributing to the growth of all sectors of Malawi.
